What's Up?

Korova Multimedia

08 April 2001

The California license plates on my Jeep expired today. This is significant for completely non sequitur reasons....

Krispy Kreme neon signOn or about April 20, I'll be waving bu'bye to California and relocating to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This is where my fiancée and I will be pursuing new careers, and hope to buy a house and settle down into it as a married couple. Research Triangle Park (the area bordered by Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) may not be all Brainstorm innovation and excitement, but the cost of living is reasonable, real estate prices within reach, and Krispy Kremes plentiful.

My domains have recently moved to my man Patrick's Cobalt servers in Novato, California. Many thanks to the Sodaware enterprise for giving Korova a new home. As well as many, many thanks to Kent's Zebra.net enterprise, which was home to these pages for almost five years.

Hoax du Jour continues to be a big, big draw. I appreciate all the interest, and particularly the readers who buy from Amazon.com based on searches and links on this site. The resulting referral fees help keep me above water with software and l'argent poche that this site (and sister site www.ChromeJob.com) requires. Much obliged.

[Sung to "Beverly Hillbillies" theme]
... Folks said, 'Dave, move away from there,
Californi's not the place you wanna be.'
So they loaded up the Jeep
And moved to Ra-leigh.
Chapel Hill, that is. Krispy Kreme. Tarheels.
